Talk Therapy is about the space that is created between the therapist and the individual. It is a sacred safe space.

Having therapy in a space where you feel you can be authentic and real, together with me, is in a space which creates safety. This space happens through trust and connection with you and me.
This is not about a space created in a room. This is about the relationship between you and me. Therapist and client. This is the therapeutic space where the emotional vulnerability, honesty and courage happens. This can happen continents, countries and cities apart.
My therapeutic approach is about talking through feelings which is happening in the now. We often find these feelings are a reaction from the past which reactivates unheard or unexpressed feelings or sensations. These feelings are then soothed through eating, not eating, drinking, substance abuse, over exercising, isolating, working too much or experiencing overwhelming feelings of depression, anxiety, rage or pain.
Feelings need to be heard and our sessions are about allowing you a space where someone - me - shows up to be witness to what you have been through. Many of the answers we have inside of ourselves. We have our answers but we all need to have a space where we can talk and find our own answers without feeling judgement or shame.

Research shows that focused talk therapy is incredibly efficient in helping you manage many mental health conditions, yet so many people avoid it due to the many stigmas around mental health. The bottom line is that we are no longer living in the dark ages, we know talk therapy works and it’s so powerful that worth it even if you don’t have a “mental health problem” seeing a therapist can be incredibly beneficial.

Our lives comprise of many events, some good, some bad, many indifferent. Your view of "normal" may comprise of abnormally neative events that create emotional layers and spark self-defeating thoughts and emotions from childhood into adulthood. Let's find some time to safely explore these events to enable you to live without their residual effects.

Substance use disorders can include many legal and illegal substances and can happen at any life stage. Addictions can be activated by a wide array of circumstances most often unique to the individual themselves. Focused addiction therapy seeks to unpack those unique circumstances and construct a viable path without the stigma and the pain.


Talk therapy circumvents the guesswork. Most people just need a sounding board that is able to reflect their story in a way that is progressive and constructive for them. By simply understanding what you have been through, I am able to help establish an alliance that is needed to enable you to make changes to patterns that have caused so much turmoil.
